Motorcycle Training
Are you interested in taking the steps to become a motorcyclist? Wake Tech offers Basic Rider courses developed by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation. This course is designed for new riders who have never ridden a motorcycle and for re-entry riders who have not ridden in a long time. However, you must be able to ride a bicycle.
This course requires physical skill, such as being able to support a 300-pound motorcycle while straddling it and to push the motorcycle for distances up to 120 feet. Students who experience significant difficulty or become a safety risk to themselves or others will not be permitted to continue the riding activities in the course.
Students are required to view the general information letter before attending the Basic Rider Course.
