College Closed Monday Because of Winter Storm

Due to inclement weather, all Wake Tech campuses will be closed Monday, January 26, 2026. Students taking in-person classes should check with their instructors for more information. Online classes will continue as scheduled. Many Wake Tech services, including Admissions and Academic Advising, are available virtually at virtualsupport.waketech.edu. Wake Tech employees who can work remotely should do so.

Certificate Programs

  • The Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certificate prepares students for the CCNA examination. Topics include network topologies and design, router configuration and protocols, switching theory, virtual LANs and threaded case studies.

  • NOTE: This program is being terminated and isn't accepting new students. Faculty advisors will work with current students to ensure they complete their certificates by May 2027.

    The Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certificate provides students with advanced skills in LAN/WAN networking technologies with an emphasis on Cisco methodology.

  • The Wireless Network Certificate gives students a solid foundation in cellular and wireless network technologies.
