Open House is Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. (October 7, 2024) – Wake Tech is hosting an Open House at Southern Wake Campus on Saturday.

Prospective students and their families can get a close-up look at the state-of-the art smart classrooms and labs, learn more about academic programs and support services and speak to Admissions and Financial Aid staff. Students can apply for Spring enrollment and get assistance completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) at the event.

"We invite all high school students, adult learners, the underemployed and unemployed to come and see Wake Tech because it just may be more than you expect," said Santrell Caison, Wake Tech's dean of Admissions and Outreach.

Events will happen from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in various locations at Southern Wake Campus. Visit openhouse.waketech.edu for more details and to register.

In addition to degree programs, Wake Tech offers non-degree accelerated training to prepare students with skills to immediately enter the workforce. The college is offering an opportunity to learn about these programs during a Virtual Open House from 5 to 7 p.m. on October 23.

Wake Tech is North Carolina's largest community college, serving more than 72,000 students each year. All Wake Tech programs, even those traditionally designed to prepare students for immediate employment, offer opportunities to transfer to a university for further study.
