RALEIGH, N.C. (October 27, 2018) - Hundreds of prospective students, parents, and career changers learned about the variety of programs and services that are offered at Wake Tech today during an Open House at the RTP campus in Morrisville.
A variety of curriculum programs were showcased, including Networking and Computer Technologies, which are offered at the campus.
Students who needed assistance applying for financial aid also got help! Financial aid specialists were on hand to help high school seniors and families complete and submit their free application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms online.
Visitors also had the opportunity to talk with admissions advisors, career counselors, faculty, and staff to learn about other resources the college has to offer, including degree pathways, short term workforce training courses, college transfer options, and scholarships.
This is the first time a Wake Tech open house has been held at the RTP campus, which welcomed its first students in May. The campus is focused on advanced, highly-technical programs and brings customized workforce training to corporations throughout Wake County.
