Dr. Ajay Dholakia is a Principal Engineer with the Lenovo Data Center Group, working on customer solutions in the areas of big data, analytics, AI and healthcare. He is also driving new projects for solution development using emerging technologies including Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain. Ajay holds more than 50 patents and has authored over 40 technical publications including the book “Introduction to Convolutional Codes with Applications.” Ajay earned a B. E. (Hons.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India, an MBA from the Henley Business School in the U.K. and M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. He is also a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
