College to Host Open House in Spanish
RALEIGH, N.C. (July 17, 2024) – Wake Tech is hosting its second Open House in Spanish on Thursday, August 8, for students interested in learning about the college's education and training programs.
The event will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Beltline Education Center (3200 Bush St. in Raleigh). Participants can also attend virtually on Microsoft Teams. Last year's inaugural event was a huge success, drawing some 300 prospective students and their families.
The Open House will feature presentations about short-term, non-degree Spanish and English bilingual courses, such as computer training, culinary, cosmetology, construction, maintenance and telecommunications. In addition, attendees will learn about basic skills programs like English as a Second Language (ESL) and High School Equivalency programs.
Prospective students can also learn more about Wake Tech's associate degree programs and student support resources, such as Tutoring and Learning Centers, Financial Aid and Career Services.
