Jalen Jackson is a visual artist whose paintings explore African American culture, memories, and experiences in his life. His paintings depict flashbacks of growing up as a son of a single mother and childhood memories, with the goal of creating a sense of nostalgia while giving a representation of Black soul for whomever interacts with his works.
