The National Association of Black Accountants would like to build a presence on campus with students in Accounting, Business, Computers (IT), and many more. Students will be able to build a business mind-set, gain knowledge of ideas and skills to navigate in the corporate arena, and network with other professionals and students within the organization. As a member of the NABA Wake Tech Student Club, students also become members of the national, regional and local organizations where information is communicated about mentorships, internships, and entry-level positions within the network.
NABA Wake Tech will also be seeking volunteers for the upcoming VITA program, the volunteer income tax assistance program. Students will participate in managing a small income tax facility, while completing tax returns and adding value to the current resumes.
