College Signs Transfer Agreement with University of Holy Cross
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 29, 2022) – Wake Tech and the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans have agreed to allow Wake Tech students who earn a degree in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology to complete a bachelor's degree online with UHC.
The articulation agreement between the two schools was signed in a special online ceremony.
Students who earn an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology (EDT) at Wake Tech will be able to complete a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences Curriculum for Electroencephalogram (EEG) Technologists at UHC.
Electroneurodiagnostic technologists, also referred to as neurodiagnostic technologists, utilize electronic testing equipment to record electrical activity arising from the brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves. They work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, epilepsy monitoring units, sleep disorder centers and research institutions.
"This is a chance for our graduates to continue their education and further their career opportunities in such an expansive health care field," said Wake Tech President Dr. Scott Ralls. "Completing a bachelor’s degree will allow our students to advance in their career field to move into management and research positions."

Neurodiagnostic Technology is a fast-growing field in the health care industry. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, neurodiagnostic technologists can earn as much as $97,000 annually in the United States.
UHC was the first university in the country to offer an accredited clinical Neurodiagnostic Technology program at the bachelor's degree level.
