Esports Tryouts

Wake Tech Esports will host tryouts for the Spring 2021 semester on Saturday, January 9.  The Eagles will be competing in Overwatch, Rocket League, and Fortnite. 

Tryouts will be done virtually and practices and games will also be done virtually until college officials determine it is safe to compete in the new Esports Arena at the Southern Campus.

For the Spring, students must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits (for Spring 2021 ONLY) and have a minimum GPA of 2.0 from the Fall 2020 term and have passed six credits.  In future years, the NJCAAE will require full-time status of 12 or more credits. Team members must also have earned a high school diploma or GED prior to trying out.
