In the words of Dr. King, "Everyone can be great because everybody can serve."
In that spirit the Wake Tech Student Government Association celebrates the Civil Rights
leader’s life and legacy. Observed January 18th as “a day on, not a day off,”
the SGA offers the following virtual community service activities.
Feed a Friend – Donations can be made to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/wake-tech-sga. For every dollar helps! Every dollar donated allows the Food Bank to distribute more than $20.00 worth of food to their 800 partner agencies including soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, senior centers and after school programs for children.
Cards for Seniors – We’re collecting cards for isolated seniors — you can help! Donations of cards, candy or flowers can be mailed or dropped off to the address below.
