This course aims to establish a foundation of knowledge about electrification, protection, and automation Participants will review basic AC electric circuit, basic power system protection theory and substation automation theory.

Course Objectives

review AC electrical circuits, build skills in substation topology, power system protection theory and substation automation and understand the most used communication protocols used on the power system.
