This is a continuing education course for Emergency Medical Technicians and Medical Responders.
This course is designed to provide current practitioners with a review of the anatomy and physiology of the heart and the cardiovascular system. The topics will include anatomy and physiology of heart, common cardiac emergencies, cardiac arrest for adult and pediatric, and post-resuscitation care. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to identify the anatomy of the heart, discuss treatment processes, and recognize and develop a comprehensive treatment plan.
