Become a valuable veterinary assistant – or well-informed pet owner! This course, taught by a practicing veterinarian, is part three in the Become a Veterinary Assistant series. Through instruction and demonstration, you'll learn how to collect blood and urine samples, give injections, and catheterize animals, along with how to safely restrain them for procedures. You’ll also learn how veterinarians interpret samples to diagnose specific conditions. Video demonstrations and interactive graphics will reinforce learning – you’ll be as close as you can get to actually being in the veterinarian's office!
