Chemistry is broadly defined as the study of the composition and properties of matter, and the changes and reactions it can undergo.  Chemistry is so much more than that, though- it’s the foundation of the physical world built from nature’s building set- the atoms and elements of the periodic table.  Chemistry courses at Wake Tech are built to prepare you for your next step and embrace transferrable skills to help you reach your academic and career goals.  You’ll gain valuable laboratory skills, hone your problem solving, and build your critical thinking muscles, all the while learning to appreciate the world around you through the lens of chemistry.  We look forward to seeing you on the first day of class!
