On October 3, 2018, the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) confirmed the re-accreditation of Wake Tech’s Radiography program. The Associate in Applied Science degree program is re-accredited through the year 2026.

Sponsored Programs

Sponsored Programs partners with leaders across the college to raise funds in the form of grants and appropriations from federal, state, and local governments as well as foundations to foster innovation and address the unmet needs of the college. The Sponsored Programs team also provides grant management and compliance support to ensure the college achieves maximum impact from sponsored programs in support of student success. Wake Tech was awarded more than $9.77 million in grants and appropriations in 2018-19, with 24 of its 31 submitted public and private competitive grant proposals receiving funding, and eight submittals pending.

The Wake Tech Foundation partners with private entities and individuals to raise awareness, financial resources, and other assets to support the mission of Wake Technical Community College. The Foundation is committed to preserving and enhancing the resources with which it is entrusted through accuracy, transparency, and good stewardship. It provides opportunities for the professional development of faculty and staff and supports student achievement through scholarships and other forms of assistance.
