Trash Throw Down Challenge

1. Say no to drinking straws at restaurants

2. Bring a refillable water bottle or coffee mug to school and work

3. Use reusable shopping bags

4. Print double-sided (or not at all!)

5. Use glass containers for leftovers and storage of food - not plastic baggies

6. Use fewer napkins and paper towels, or find an alternative (cloth towels, etc.)

7. Compost food scraps

8. Become more aware of products that can/cannot be recycled in your area.

9. Re-purpose things that have come to the end of their original life

10. Sign the Wake Tech Sustainability Commitment to support sustainability efforts.
